Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to revolutionize many areas of healthcare, including emergency medicine. In emergency medicine, time is critical, and the ability to quickly and accurately diagnose and treat patients can make a significant difference in their outcomes. Artificial intelligence has shown promise in assisting emergency medicine professionals in making faster and more accurate diagnoses, predicting patient outcomes, and triaging patients based on the urgency of their condition. Another area where AI can be useful is in the development of decision support tools. These tools can help emergency medical professionals quickly and accurately diagnose patients, choose appropriate treatments, and make other important decisions. Overall, AI has the potential to greatly enhance the practice of emergency medicine, allowing practitioners to provide faster and more accurate diagnoses and treatments to patients. As research in this area continues, we can expect to see more and more innovative applications of AI in emergency medicine, leading to better outcomes for patients and a more efficient healthcare system. In this review, we will discuss the various ways AI is being used in emergency medicine, the challenges it poses, and its potential impact on patient care.
