Abstract

In the investigation of tumor progression, genomic and epigenetic analyses play equal roles. Proteomic analyses play a significant role in the discovery of biological markers in cancer research. The Cancer Genome Atlas was made possible by genomic sequencing research. In this manner, any variations in the cancer genome can be identified by comparing the genetic sequences of cancer tissue and healthy tissues. In light of this research, systems biology analysis enables the identification of the medication targets as well as their impact on the pathogen and adverse effects on healthy cells. This review aims to highlight the significance of bioinformatics in a variety of cancer investigations, including the identification of malignant cells, customization of cancer genome analyses, and detection of metastasis formation.
